Valley of the Boom is the story of the birth of the Internet. Set in the early days of the dot-com boom it follows the original creators and the outcomes of their creations which have since changed the world.

The digital campaign hinges on the balancing act of nostalgia, humor and the disruptive shock of breaking the 4th wall. In order to engage audiences who lived through the boom, those who have only ever accessed the internet through an iPhone and those that just love an all around compelling drama, we juxtaposed today’s tech industry with some of her not so humble beginnings. The visual style is an eclectic collection of familiar textures from early tech, the eye catching, gaudy colors reminiscent of early web design and images and gifs of internet fads we all remember.
